GTEC strikes USD26.8m cash deal to buy cyber security software firm ZytelSep 14, 2010 (MANAVIGATOR via COMTEX) -- US Global Defense Technology and Systems (NASDAQ:GTEC) announced yesterday an agreement to buy cyber security software provider Zytel Corp for USD26.8m (EUR20.8m) in cash. According to the buyer, which provides technology for national security agencies and aims at boosting its product offering, the acquisition will be immediately accretive to earnings per share. GTEC expects to complete the transaction in the fourth quarter of the year. Zytel's revenue in 2010 is estimated at USD20m.
