FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GRANDSTREAM AND SIPCAT PARTNER TO DELIVER INTEGRATED
VOICE AND VIDEO SOLUTION FOR THE SMB MARKET

Complete certified integration of Grandstream IP phone portfolio in Sipcat VoIP software provides zero-configuration IPPBX solution for SMB market.

San Francisco, CA (News - Alert) – VoiceCon, Moscone Convention Center (August 21, 2007) -- Grandstream Networks, Inc. (www.grandstream.com), a leading designer and manufacturer of next generation IP Voice and Video products for broadband networks and Linugen, Belgium based developer of Sipcat (www.sipcat.com) a leading software based VoIP phone system for the SMB market, announced today that Sipcat has completed certified integration of the three Grandstream IP phone portfolios with the Sipcat VoIP platform to provide the first zero configuration IP telephony environment.

The Grandstream IP voice & video phone portfolios provide the best price-performance point in the industry. All of Grandstream products are designed to support advanced voice-over-IP applications and are interoperable with most 3rd party SIP products. The GXP multi-line enterprise IP phone series, the BudgeTone single-line series and the GXV3000 IP video phone offer advanced feature sets with superb audio and video quality, provide advanced security features, support a broad range of voice codecs, and are easy to manage through web-based GUI interfaces or central secure provisioning files.

Sipcat VoIP software is continually recognized by industry experts for its ease of use. The latest Sipcat version, that introduces compatibility with the GXV3000 and GXP2020, continues this trend and provides full integration with the Grandstream phones, requiring no separate IP telephone configuration from the end-user or administrator.

“Thanks to Grandstream’s provisioning features, we’ve been able to provide a zero configuration environment for our customers. Companies just select the Grandstream phone model from a drop down list, and Sipcat takes care of the complete configuration”, said Tom Schouteden, Managing Director of Linugen.

“Grandstream’s SIP-based phone series offers a highly competitive price-performance benchmark in the industry. The combination of Sipcat’s software and our SIP Phones creates an attractive and easy to use choice in the highly competitive small-to-medium world-wide enterprise market,” commented David Li, CEO of Grandstream Networks (News - Alert). “We believe this combined solution offers a very competitive and high-value package for the SMB looking for a total VoIP solution.”

Grandstream products provide support for a broad range of audio codecs, integrated network 10/100Mbs Ethernet network ports, visual messaging indicator, web-based management tools and secure automated provisioning features. In addition, the GXP Enterprise Series offers multi-line IP phones with XML capability, dual LED line indicators, multiple programmable hard keys, integrated Power over Ethernet.

Sipcat provides a fully software based telephone system including integrated voice mail system and fax server, call groups and queues, conference rooms and an interactive voice response system. It is manageable using an easy-to-use web interface, supports analog and digital phone lines and can be installed on commodity hardware. A hardware appliance is in the making.
