Valvoline Selects SpringCM for Enterprise Content and Contract Management

CHICAGO, April 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SpringCM, the leading document management and contract lifecycle management platform in the cloud, today announced that Valvoline, a leading provider of motor oil and automotive lubricants, selected SpringCM for enterprise content management (ECM) and contract lifecycle management (CLM). SpringCM brings document-based workflows to the cloud to improve collaboration, drive productivity, and increase revenues.

Before integrating SpringCM's cloud-based platform, Valvoline used a legacy system of email or in-person meetings to manage contracts. As part of its digital transformation initiative after separating from parent company Ashland Inc., Valvoline initially sought a CLM and configure, price, quote (CPQ) solution. After realizing they also needed to integrate with an enterprise content management solution, they looked to SpringCM to streamline and consolidate their needs into one platform.

"SpringCM can solve top CLM challenges, and through its technology, we can also integrate an enterprise content management system, which is genuinely unique. N other vendor on the planet can do that," said Victor Rios, CIO and CDO at Valvoline. "There are a lot of products on the market, but SpringCM's flexibility and ease-of-use, in combination with the culture of support among its employees, made SpringCM a clear choice."

Key to Valvoline's selection of SpringCM was the integration with Office 365, as well as SpringCM's usability and ease of implementation. With SpringCM, Valvoline has more transparency into its document and contract workflows, which positions Valvoline to deliver increased value to its customers and employees. Enhanced visibility and communication across the organization is delivered through the integration of SpringCM solutions throughout each department at Valvoline.

"Onboarding Valvoline demonstrates our capabilities to service major enterprises and is a testament to our leadership in the enterprise content and contract management space," said Dan Dal Degan, CEO of SpringCM. "At SpringCM, we pride ourselves on being a partner to our customers and equipping them with the necessary tools to bring value to their customers. We look forward to working with Valvoline and taking the company to the next level in their digital transformation process."
