The new facility of the company in Manila, which was inaugurated on Monday by the country's President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, comes barely nine months after it launched its operations in Philippines. * "The company entered Philippines in July-August last year and since then we have ramped up to over 750 professionals against the Phase 1 target of 500 professionals," Sutherland chairman and CEO Dilip Vellodi said. * He said the company now plans to increase the headcount in Manila to 1,500 in the next six months.
