Becrypt showcases latest innovations for secure tablets and virtual desktops at InfoSec Europe 2103

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) InfoSec Europe 2013, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London 23 - 25th April 2013 - Becrypt Stand G40 London, UK, 18 April 2013 - Becrypt , the market leading supplier of cyber security solutions to UK central and local government, Ministry of Defence and the corporate sector will be showcasing two new products on Stand G40 at InfoSec Europe 2013 - DISK Protect for Microsoft Windows 8 tablets and tVolution, a secure end-point solution for virtual desktops. DISK Protect for Microsoft Windows 8 tablets significantly extends the range of touch-screen devices that can now benefit from Becrypt's full disk encryption solution. tVolution has been designed for high threat environments to enable security conscious organisations to cost-effectively secure and manage end-point access to VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) resources.

Becrypt's Windows 8 tablet solution includes on-screen, touch friendly pre-boot authentication, enabling users to login/authenticate before the main operating system is booted, avoiding the issue of authenticating after a machine may already be compromised. This latest encryption solution is a result of Becrypt's collaboration with several hardware vendors including Fujitsu and Samsung. DISK Protect is available in several different accredited versions allowing Microsoft Windows 8 and tablet support up to Impact Level 4 (CONFIDENTIAL), including a CESG Commercial Product Assurance version.

Becrypt's tVolution addresses network vulnerability at the perimeter by ensuring that security policy is enforced at the end-point, preventing any unauthorised data transfer. tVolution provides built-in security controls to restrict user access, prevent data leakage and provide encryption -- without the need to install or manage any additional operating systems or third party applications on the end-points. Patented Becrypt RAM scrubbing ensures no sensitive data is retained on the end-point once shutdown, reducing the device's security rating while not in use.

tVolution is compatible with Citrix, Microsoft, Quest and VMware virtual environments and can be deployed on new, existing or a mixed multi-vendor hardware estate without compromising security, performance or end-user experience.

Dr. Bernard Parsons, CEO at Becrypt commented; "InfoSec Europe provides us with an excellent platform to showcase our latest innovations that provide cost effective solutions for security conscious organisations. DISK Protect for Microsoft Windows 8 tablets is a major step forward in Becrypt's provision of security solutions for tablets. It enables IT departments to offer a more viable Choose Your Own Device option to staff where sensitive data must be protected. In addition our tVolution solution has been designed with security in mind from the outset, unlike many other VDI solutions." DISK Protect for Microsoft Windows 8 tablets and tVolution are available through the channel from Becrypt's network of value added resellers and partner distributors.

Becrypt will be exhibiting at InfoSec Europe 2013, Stand G40, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London. 23 - 25th April 2013 Bernard Parsons, CEO of Becrypt and Chris Marshall, Head of Assurance Services, CESG will be presenting 'Getting the balance right between risk and security: HMRC saves 2m+' in the Business Strategy Theatre at InfoSec, on 24 February at 14.00.

Wick Hill Ltd will also be showing Becrypt's products on Stand F50.
