Broadband Provider Goes Incognito for Network Insights

By Greg Tavarez January 09, 2024

There is a growing trend in the broadband industry – data-driven decision making. As networks become more complex and subscriber demands continue to rise, service providers seek robust solutions that enable them to optimize performance, deliver superior customer experiences and maximize revenue potential.

Incognito Software Systems, a provider of broadband service orchestration, device management and network intelligence solutions, allows service providers to automate network operations, optimize service delivery and gain valuable insights into network performance and subscriber behavior.

Because of those capabilities, Incognito recently entered a collaboration with a prominent American broadband service provider, or BISP.

The BISP selected Incognito’s Network Monetization and Analytics Platform, or MAP, to gain deep, granular understanding of its network performance and optimize revenue generation as part of its ambitious network innovation and modernization strategy.

Incognito MAP is a comprehensive platform that delivers a potent combination of network intelligence and revenue optimization tools. MAP provides a holistic view of network activity, encompassing data usage patterns, subscriber behavior, and device performance. This granular level of detail allows the BISP to identify bottlenecks, optimize bandwidth allocation, and proactively address potential service disruptions.

MAP has a powerful analytics engine that helps the BISP decipher the complex tapestry of network data to uncover hidden trends and patterns. The platform generates customizable reports that provide actionable insights into subscriber demographics, service utilization and revenue streams.

MAP also allows the BISP to monetize its network effectively by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities. The platform provides tools for targeted marketing campaigns, personalized service offerings and dynamic pricing models.

“This latest customer deployment of our MAP platform underscores the need for operators to have complete visibility across their networks in order to quickly identify and act on trends that impact both customer experience and the bottom line,” said Pete Koat, Business Unit Leader at Incognito. “By fully assessing and understanding the operator’s environment, we were able to respond with flexible, timely, high-quality service to support them in a smooth transition toward improved subscriber quality of experience and network planning.”

With MAP, the BISP is better positioned to navigate the broadband landscape and deliver better service to its subscribers for years to come.
